Setting up your Lowry Cup team for the Ventura Seaside Highland Games

Hello highlanders. The Seaside Highland games is home to the Lowry Cup competition. This is an SAAA exclusive competition, allowing practice groups to etch their name into the esteemed Lowry Cup forever.

Each team is allotted 10 slots of throwers with 2 backfills in the event someone cannot attend. If an athlete can perform in two subsequent classes, they can - and would consume two slots.

Practice groups need to be registered on the SAAA Website, meaning each practice group needs to have at least one active SAAA member. If this isn't possible, please use our contact page to reach out.

If you are a practice group owner / admin, you can form your Lowry Cup team each year including your backfills by editing your group. You can choose from the current roster of throwers in your group — or manually add someone who is not a member. Historic records of previous years teams will be kept on the site for reference — while Lory Cup wins are tracked on a practice groups page.
