SAAA Gilbert Season Opener
Gilbert Civic Center Lawn | April 11, 2026 | 9AM-2PM
Join us this year for our SAAA Season Opener in Gilbert Arizona. Our athletes will be main stage on the athletics field all day for this 1 day event at the Gilbert Cultural Festival for 2026.
This event is not affiliated with a traditional Celtic Festival. We are showcasing the highland games at the Gilbert Global Village. As such we do not have any funding aside from registration fees. What makes this competition unique aside from being part of a multi-cultural event is that no admission will be charged. Your friends and loved ones will be able to spectate without paying any admission.
We will contest 7 events:
- Braemar Stone
- Open Stone
- Heavy Weight for Distance
- Light Weight for Distance
- Caber
- Sheaf
- Weight Over Bar
Registration is $45 for SAAA members and $60 for non-members. Please send registration fee via: Paypal to @saaahg
