The 50th Annual San Diego Scottish Highland Games
The SAAA is proud to return to San Diego for a milestone year: the 50th Annual San Diego Scottish Highland Games! Join us on June 20–21, 2026, at an exciting new venue, Mission Valley River Park.
Located directly adjacent to Snapdragon Stadium and the Stadium Trolley Station, this year’s Games offer unprecedented accessibility and a premier backdrop for competition. Beyond the athletic field, the weekend features world-class Highland Dance, Pipe & Drum bands, Sheepdog trials, and a vibrant array of Scottish clans, vendors, and traditional fare.

- Light Weight for Distance

- Weight Over Bar
- Sheaf
- Caber
ROAD TO FLAGSTAFF: Automatic Qualifier
The stakes are high in San Diego! These games serve as an official automatic qualifier for the West Coast Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona (July 18–19). The winners of the Men’s A and Women’s A classes will secure their spot!
Saturday – Men’s A, Men’s Professional, Women’s A, B and C Classes, Mens, 40+, 50+ and Masters 60+
Sunday – Women’s Masters, Men’s B, Men’s C, Men’s and Women lightweight and Men’s Novice,

Secure your spot on the field today. Registration fees include your games t-shirt, awards for top finishers, and sanctioned judging/equipment.
